What is Sewage Damage?
There is a misconception among most building or home owners that sewage damage has to smell bad or have visible contaminants. In reality, sewage damage is defined as any water originating from a drain line or beyond the trap. So even though the water appears clean and does not have a bad odor, it still could be sewage damage.

How Do I Know When It's Gone?
Bacteria is the number one concern with sewage damage. You can not see or in most cases smell bacteria. A surface that appears totally clean can still be very contaminated with harmful bacteria such as E. Coli. In many cases bacterial sampling is needed to prove that the surface has in fact been cleaned sufficiently.
We can provide bacterial clearance sampling with results in less than 24 hours.
